- Captives in Karbala Darbar Ibn Ziyad

When the heads of the martyrs of Karbala and the captives of Karbala had been sent to the market of Kufa, Ibn Ziyad sat in his court and ordered that the head of Imam Al-Husayn (a) be brought to him.
After this, the women and children of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) were brought along with Imam al-Sajjad (a) to the court, and made to stand in front of the throne of the cursed, while his courtiers stood as spectators.

After Ibn Ziyad’s court, the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) was chained and taken to the prison of Kufa.

Ibn Ziyad issued letters to the people of Medina and Syria and broadcast the news of the martyrdom of Imam al-Husayn (a).

Abdullah bin Afif Azdi was one of the great companions of Hazrat Amir al-Mu’minin (as) and he lost both his eyes one after the other in the battle of Jamal and Siffin. So most of the time he used to be busy in worship.
When he heard that Ibn Ziyad was accusing The Cursed Amir al-Mu’minin and Imam Al-Husayn (a) of hypocrisy, he got up from the crowd and said:
Be silent, O passer-by, die, thou art a sinner, and thy father is a sinner, and he who brought thee to this place.
O enemy God!
He kills the family of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and then says such things from the pulpit?!
The soldiers wanted to arrest them, but their tribe did not allow this to happen and they returned home with their help, later Ibn Ziyad’s soldiers reached their house and besieged them, after the glorious battle of Abdullah bin Afif and his daughter, they were arrested and as they wanted from God, they were martyred at the hands of the worst creation i.e. Ibn Ziyad. became.
