Who is Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar?

Anwarul Haq Kakar from Balochistan Awami Party was elected senator in 2018 and is the chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar first appeared in Balochistan politics in 2008, before anwar-ul-haq was living in the United Kingdom as an Overseas Pakistani, but after entering Balochistan politics in 2008, he contested the National Assembly elections for the first time from Quetta on a PML-Q ticket in 2008, but lost the election and finished second. After this, Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar announced to join the PML-N and remained active in the PML-N. Anwarul Haq Kakar was the spokesperson of Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri from 2015 to 2017. In early 2018, Anwarul Haq was also at the forefront of the revolt to topple the PML-N government in Balochistan and was present in the no-confidence motion against Nawab Sanaullah Zehri. However, Anwar-ul-Haq is considered a close associate of former Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Mir Jam Kamal Khan Aliani and the last political meeting was in June when Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar met the Chief Organizer/Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Maryam Nawaz along with Mir Jam Kamal Khan Alyani. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar’s native place is from Zhob Division District Qila Saifullah Tehsil Muslim Bagh Valley Kan Mehtarzai Kali Sara Khola Kan Mehtarzai. Isa Khel, a sub-branch of the Kakar Sintia tribe, belongs to sub-branch Nuhzai. The famous saint Pir Mian Abdul Hakeem Kakar alias Nana Sahib of Tal Chhotali also belongs to the nation of Nuhzai.
