Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif today visited Pakistan-Iran border where he inaugurated the border market with the Iranian President.
On this occasion, along with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other federal ministers are also present.
The border market will create employment opportunities on both sides of the border.
The two leaders will also inaugurate the electricity transmission line at the Mandpishin border crossing.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the market will promote cross-border trade, economic development and local business.
According to reports, 100 megawatts of additional electricity will be received from Iran through the Polan-Gabad transmission line.
According to the sources, three new trade markets are also being opened on the border of Iran and Pakistan.
Pak-Iran trade market has been opened, opening of 2 markets is in progress.
