Petrol in exchange for wheat, Pakistan, Russia and Afghanistan signed a new agreement
For trade, neither dollars, nor rupees, but goods must be given for goods, there will be barter trade from Iran, Russia and Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Commerce has released business procedures for the three countries. It has been made necessary for private entities to be in the active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Application for trade has to be made through FBR’s online portal. According to the Ministry of Commerce, milk, cream, eggs, cereals, meat, fruits, vegetables, perfumes, cosmetics, home appliances, motorcycles, surgical instruments and sports equipment will be exported from Pakistan.
Wheat, pulses, petroleum products, fertilizers and textile machinery can be imported from Russia, while fruits, vegetables, spices and dry fruits can be imported from Afghanistan and Iran.
