Pakistani citizens celebrating their birthdays on the same day have set a world record. A Pakistani family, consisting of nine members, has established the Guinness World Record for “most individuals in a single-family born on the same day,” which falls on August 1st.
Amir Azad Mangi and his family from Ladhakana have broken the previous record held by an American family of five members since 1966.
Amir Azad Mangi, his wife Khadija, and their seven children, including two sets of twins, make up a record-keeping family. Mr. Mangi was born on August 1st, 1968. His wife was born on August 1st, 1973. Their first daughter, Sindhoo, was born on August 1st, 1992. The twin daughters, Sassi and Sapna, were born on August 1st, 1998. Their first son, Aamir, was born on August 1st, 2001. Their second son, Amber, was born on August 1st, 2002. And the twin sons, Amr and Ahmar, were born on August 1st, 2003.
The interesting thing is that Mr. Mangi’s wedding anniversary also falls on the same day, which is a special occasion for the whole family.
