After the Prophets, one of the greatest means of spreading Islam throughout the world is the bandanas who introduced the bright face of Islam to the world by illuminating the candles of knowledge with their character and character, and their good morals and deeds. One of these great personalities is Shaykh-ul-Islam Hazrat Bahauddin Zakaria Multani Suhrawardy Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh, a great preacher of the Indian subcontinent. He is one of the descendants of Hazrat Sayyidina Habba bin Aswad Hashemi Quraishi (May Allah be pleased with him). Allah almighty exalted him with immense preaching abilities, he was the highest example of knowledge and mysticism and piety and morality.He taught monotheism to humanity suffering from disbelief and polytheism, taught the ignorant Muslims the lesson of remembrance of Allah, and filled the hearts without love with the love of Allah and The Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his family. Allaah had given him a very high position in the sciences of the outward as well as the knowledge of spirituality and the inner world. In addition to giving wealth of Islam to thousands of people, he also gave moral education and training to the people. The service he rendered for the propagation of Islam by establishing a unique preaching system has been written in golden letters in the annals of history.
Hazrat Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria Multani’s education and training started at a very young age. At the age of seven, he became famous by memorizing the Word of Allah with the Qur’an. When you were twelve years old, the shadow of your father was lifted from your head, but your education continued. Such was your nature and god-given mind that once everything passed out of sight would be saved. After the death of his father, he traveled from Multan to Khurasan. After reaching there, for seven years, he learned from the elders of religion and attained so much perfection that he reached the level of Ijtihad. Practiced a lot in mujahedeen, observation and revelation. His qualities were heartwarming and habits were captivating to the people, due to which the people of Bukhara used to call him Baha’ud-Din Farishta. Soon his fame went beyond the surroundings of Khorasan and Bukhara. After eight years of knowledge in Bukhara, he went to Makkah for Hajj and after completing the routine of Hajj, he reached Madinah to visit the holy shrine of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). For five years, he was honored by visiting the Holy Prophet’s shrine.
And remained the custodians of the holy shrine .
In 614 AH, he came to Multan again, at that time he was thirty-six or thirty-seven years old, on this request of the people of Multan, he started preaching religion and changed the state of Multan, both outward and inward. Mosques started to be built everywhere, madrasas were built, large and clean buildings were built in the city and the beauty of Multan began to increase. You established here a practical school for the promotion of knowledge among the people, which was adjacent to your monastery. Who rendered exemplary services for the betterment of the people and society. People used to come and stay here and benefit from your company and arrange for the purity of their hearts. There were two departments of this seminary, in one area where scholars were trained and in the other, preachers used to use Islamic teachings and practices through teachers. These gentlemen were taught that it was necessary to know the society and language of the region or country they went to.
Hazrat Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria Multani was very rich and generous, so he used to meet all the expenses of the students himself. In addition to free education, food, clothing and housing were also available. Thousands of students from his seminary became experts in various sciences and arts, including calligraphy, historiography, calligraphy, calligraphy, calligraphy, skin making and commerce, besides The Qur’an and Hadith and Fiqh, who spread the light of Islam to Java Sumatra, Indonesia, Philippines, Khorasan and China besides India. According to the teachings and orders of Hazrat Sheikh, the Tablighi Jamaat would leave Multan by loading goods on ships in the dress of merchants and open their shops in different countries of the world and start trading according to Islamic principles. That is why the millions of Muslims who are seen in the small islands of the Far East today are the result of the preaching and preaching of these great religions and Sufis.
There was always a gathering of Taliban truth around him, if you look at the list of devotees, then it will be known that in the monastery of Hazrat Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria Multani, a great saint stayed. For example, Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, Hazrat Hamiduddin Nagori, Jalaluddin Tabrizi and Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganj Shakar. Hazrat Sheikh Bahauddin Zakaria Multani and Hazrat Baba Farid-ud-Din Ganj Shakar were cousins in the relationship and loved each other deeply. The two stayed together for many years on a journey.
And both respected one another very much . There could not have been an illusion of sorrow in their company. Hazrat Baba Farid-ud-Din Ganj Shukar (RA) says that once there was a discussion of jihad and piety in the assembly, Hazrat Brother Bahauddin Zakaria and I were sitting together. Brother Baha’ud-Din Zakariya said, “Zahad is based on three things, in which these three things are not, they do not deserve to be called Zahid, first to recognize the world and not to be disappointed with it, to serve the second child and take care of their rights, to seek and seek the third hereafter and strive continuously to achieve it, and to trust in the mercy of Allah.” Hazrat Baha’ud-Din Zakariya (RA) is associated with many incidents of Kashf and Karamat and which according to historians are based on reality.Great personalities like him spent their whole lives worshiping and serving god, the love and attraction of the world was meaningless to them. This is the reason that today Multan and the people of Multan are proud of their existence that their existence became a source of development and fame of Multan along with the propagation and propagation of Islam.
