At least 93 people have been killed and nearly the entire city of Lahina, on the west coast of Mauvi in the US state of Hawaii, in five days, the forest fire is being described as the worst accident in america’s 100-year history. Gaya Ho, the historic Resort Town became a field of ashes in four days. Thousands of buildings have collapsed, vehicles have melted to the ground and thousands of people have been displaced, officials have warned, warning that the death toll could increase due to the discovery of more bodies during the search operation. According to Civil Air Patrol, 1,692 buildings have been completely destroyed, most of them residential houses. Local media say houses and buildings damaged by the fire have not yet been searched, there are fears of bodies being found there. It is estimated that more than 2,000 buildings have been burnt to ashes.
