Exports of fruits and vegetables from the country increased

Exports of fruits and vegetables from the country recorded an annual increase during July. According to the State Bank and Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data, the export of fruits in July earned the country 37.38 million dollars in foreign exchange, which is 32% more than the July 2022 figure. Exports from the country earned $28.39 million in foreign exchange. Compared to June, fruit exports have also increased on a monthly basis. The volume of fruit exports in June was recorded at $31.61 million, which increased to $37.38 million in July. Fiscal Year 2023: The country received an exchange of 232.30 million dollars from the export of fruits in the fiscal year 2022, which was 398.87 million dollars in the fiscal year 2022. According to the statistics, the volume of vegetable exports in the first month of the current financial year was recorded at 16.59 million dollars, which is 9.29% more than July last year. The volume of exports was recorded at 15.18 million dollars. Compared to June, the export of vegetables increased on a monthly basis in July. The volume of exports of vegetables was recorded at 14.75 million dollars in June, and the country received 172.34 million dollars from the export of vegetables in the fiscal year 2023, compared to $255.15 million in the fiscal year 2022.
