Blood is an essential part of the human body which circulates through the heart and arteries to the various organs of the body. According to medical experts, every adult human body has about 1.2 gallons to 1.5 gallons i.e. 4.5 liters to 5.5 liters of blood. While in case of any accident, serious illness or surgery, a person may need blood, plasma, white cells. Blood donations are very important and necessary to save precious human lives. Donating blood to any needy patient is considered as charity. In Surah Al-Maida of the Holy Qur’an, Allah has described saving the life of one person as saving the life of the entire humanity. While with the help of any other human being, one gets peace and comfort from the divine nature and one gets rid of all kinds of calamities and deprivations.
Many people think that donating blood has negative effects on human health, but this is not true at all. Every healthy person has about one liter (ie two to three bottles) of extra blood in their body. Health experts say that every healthy person should donate blood at least twice a year. There are no adverse effects, but the blood donors remain healthy. The amount of blood taken in donating blood is completed by the human body in three days, while the blood cells are formed in 56 days and the new blood cells are healthier and stronger than the old blood which protects the person from many diseases. . It is also important that after donating blood once, it should be given again after three months or so. According to a research by the American Medical Association, the chances of heart attack and cancer are reduced by 95% in people who donate blood periodically. Due to excess amount of iron in the body and its low excretion, iron affects the human heart, liver and pancreas, while research has proved that donating blood is a very useful process to keep the amount of iron in the body in balance. Is. This process helps prevent blood clots in the veins and improves blood flow in the body. Donors who donate blood regularly do not suffer from obesity as blood donation helps in reducing body fat and weight control. After donating blood, the formation of new blood creates a glow in the face and it reverses the effects of aging on the face.
In other countries of the world, the number of people who donate blood is very high, but unfortunately, in our country, only 1-2% of people donate blood voluntarily, while others donate blood in accidents or other serious situations. . According to health experts, the life of blood in our body is only 120 days, so why not save that blood from wasting, awaken the spirit of service, donate blood and save someone’s life. For safe blood transfusion it is necessary to know the blood group, basically blood groups are divided into four types namely A, B, O, and AB with each type further divided into positive and negative. Is. Group O blood can be transfused to patients of all groups while group A blood can be transfused to A and AB, group B to B and AB and group AB blood can only be transfused to patients of AB group. The age of 17 to 50 years and weight more than about 50 kg can donate blood. In addition, while donating blood, necessary tests of the donor are done, including tests for hepatitis BC, AIDS, malaria and syphilis, which Because of this, the donor becomes aware of any hidden disease before it becomes incurable.
