Council of Common Interests approves new census

The next general elections will now be held after the new delimitation in the light of the new census.
Therefore, it is now impossible to hold general elections across the country in November 2023.
Elections will now be held in March 2024 or the next budget. Supervisor will present
4-6 months time required for new delimitations
A month will then be required to decide appeals against the new delimitation.
And the schedule will also have to be released 54 days before the general elections.
Therefore, instead of 2 or 3 months, the next general elections across the country will not be seen before 7 months to 9 months.
