The 19th Annual Alhamra Young Artists Exhibition was held at the Lahore Arts Council. Samira Javed, Principal of the College of Art and Design at Punjab University, inaugurated the exhibition along with Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Salim Saggar. The exhibition showcased the works of 412 artists from all over the country, displaying 500 pieces of art. A prize distribution ceremony was also held earlier among the prominent position holders.
The Lahore Arts Council has organized the 19th Annual Alhamra Young Artists Exhibition. Samira Javed, Principal of the College of Art and Design at Punjab University, inaugurated the exhibition along with Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Salim Saggar and Mazna Zulfiqar. The outstanding position holders were congratulated in the exhibition. The exhibition showcased the works of 412 artists from all over the country, displaying 500 pieces of art. Earlier, a prize distribution ceremony was held among the prominent position holders. In the ceremony, 10 artists who achieved prominent positions were awarded cash prizes and certificates worth Rs. 15,000. The young artist’s Excel Lucas, Amina Jameel, Amin Habib, Gulzar Ali, Ghayyath Ahmed, Hasan Farhan Faheem, Noor-ul-Huda Sahar, Syed Muhammad Raza Bukhari, Shahzadi Aisha, and Yaqoob Jan achieved prominent positions.
For the encouragement of young artists, all the artists have been published in a booklet together. Professor Dr. Samira Javed praised the creative abilities of young artists and encouraged them by saying that our youth possess endless abilities.
