The Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have finalised a deal for the sale of the PAC JF-17 Thunder Block III 4.5 generation mutirole fighter aircraft, to be built by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra, Punjab. The deal’s instrument is yet to be formally signed, and is pending a sure-fire passing of the defence deal’s bill from the Iraqi parliament this year.
