Successful Raids Target Drug Traffickers Across Multiple Locations in Pakistan.
The Anti-Narcotics Force conducted an operation against drug trafficking, recovered more than 139 kg of drugs, and arrested 8 suspects. According to the spokesman, 45 kg of 600 grams of hashish and 12 kg of opium were recovered from a vehicle near Motorway Toll Plaza Khanewal. A resident of Islamabad was smuggling the drug by hiding it in the trunk of the vehicle. From the stomach of a passenger at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, 53 capsules full of cocaine were recovered. The accused had reached Lahore from Muscat by flight number PK 230. 4 accused were arrested in a joint operation with Pakistan Rangers Punjab in Kasur. 7 kg of heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused, who are residents of Lahore and Kasur. At Sialkot International Airport, 50 capsules of ice and 50 capsules filled with hashish were recovered from the stomach of a passenger. The accused, a resident of Pakpattan, was leaving for Doha by flight number QR 631. 9 kg of hashish was recovered from a local resident near Ghazar Tas Bala Bazaar. During a joint operation with FC Balochistan at Luck Pass check post, 40 kg of ice was recovered from 5 parcels in the bus, and drugs were being smuggled to Karachi under the guise of spare parts of the vehicle. 25 kg hashish was recovered. According to the spokesman, 8 suspects were arrested during the operations against whom cases were registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigation was started.
